Installation

Download

1. Sign in to your account at onlineridebooking.com.
2. Open Dashboard → Downloads and download the latest online-ride-booking-x.y.z.zip.

Install on WordPress

1. In wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
2. Choose the zip you downloaded, click Install Now, then Activate.
3. A new Ride Booking menu appears in the wp-admin sidebar.

On first activation the plugin creates its database tables, seeds the five standard services (Airport Pickup, Airport Drop Off, Point to Point, Hourly, Event Transportation), a default booking form, the stock email templates, and the frontend pages it manages (Portal, Thank You, sign-in pages).

Updating

With a connected license the plugin updates through the normal WordPress Plugins screen like any other plugin — update checks run daily against our release server and every download is integrity-checked. You can always download the current release manually from the portal as well.

Your booking data is never touched by an update. Database changes ship as one-shot migrations that run automatically and only ever add or upgrade — the plugin never deletes your data on update, deactivation, or license changes. Booking forms are additionally protected by a built-in snapshot that restores them automatically if the table is ever found empty.

Moving to a new site

Install the plugin on the new site, then disconnect the license from the old site (either from the plugin's License page or from the portal) and connect it on the new one. See License.
