Booking Form / Airports & Airlines
Airports
Manage airports: fees, coordinates, and the three ways to add them.
Each airport row
- IATA code and name — edited inline, right in the row; changes save on blur
- Airport fee toggle — when this airport is on a trip, the airport fee (from the vehicle's pricing or the global setting) is added to the price
- Active switch — inactive airports vanish from the form but keep their history
- Drag handle — the row order is the dropdown order customers see
- City, province/country, and coordinates ride along invisibly — they power the route map and distance pricing
Bulk bar: select rows to enable, disable, or delete together; Enable all / Disable all work on the whole list. Filter by code or name above the table.
Three ways to add airports
Add airport — a blank row; type the IATA code and name yourself.
Add from map — search Google Maps, click the airport, done: name, code, and coordinates fill automatically.
Load premade — the fastest path. Two sources in one dialog:
- Canadian list — 67 curated airports across every province and territory, grouped by province with per-group select-all
- Full directory (OpenFlights) — a free public dataset with 6,000+ IATA airports in every country, grouped by country, no API key needed
Both sources share a name/code/city filter and a group dropdown; long results are capped at 400 visible rows with a prompt to narrow. Airports you already have are hidden automatically, and adding runs with a live progress bar and a Stop button.
