Fleet & Team / Team (Owners & Dispatchers)
Owners
Full-access accounts that never see wp-admin.
Owners get everything — every plugin area, full write, no matrix to configure. What they don't get is WordPress itself: an owner signing in is sent to the frontend admin portal, not wp-admin, so they can run the entire ride business without being able to install plugins, edit the site, or touch other WordPress content.
When to use an owner instead of a WordPress admin
- A business partner who runs operations but shouldn't administer the website.
- A general manager who needs Settings, Revenue, and Settlement — areas you'd keep off for dispatchers.
- You, day to day: many operators keep one WordPress admin for site maintenance and use an owner account for daily dispatch, just for the cleaner interface.
Managing owners
Add Owner works like adding a dispatcher: name, email (the login), password (or auto-generate), and an optional welcome email with a set-password link. From an owner's detail page you can edit contact info, pause the account, re-send the login link, or delete it.
If someone only needs most access, prefer a dispatcher with generous permissions — you can always tighten later. Owners are for genuinely unrestricted trust.
