Configuration / Customer, Driver & Agent Portals
Driver Portal
Trips, status buttons, earnings, and mandatory GPS.
What drivers see at /portal — a phone-first workday view:
Overview
Today at a glance: today's trips, today's earnings, this week, this month, and the next trip card. The header button jumps to today's run list.
Trips
Scope chips for Today / Upcoming / History. Each trip opens with everything needed at the curb: pickup time, addresses, customer contact, trip details — and the status buttons: Start trip flips the booking to In Progress, Complete to Completed. Dispatch sees each change instantly on the admin side.
Earnings
Tiles for today, this week, and this month. The math matches Settlement: cash (Pay to Driver) trips count the full fare the driver collected; online-paid trips count the Driver Pay dispatch recorded on the booking.
Location sharing is mandatory
While a driver is signed in, the portal shares their GPS position (with heading and speed) every few seconds — this feeds Track Drivers. There is no opt-out toggle: if the browser blocks location, a full-screen overlay ("Location sharing required") explains exactly how to enable it — permission denied, HTTPS missing, or GPS off each get tailored instructions — and the dashboard stays blocked until sharing works. The overlay also states the promise: location is shared with dispatch only while signed in.
Setup
The login is created from the driver profile (welcome email with set-password link). Any modern phone browser works — no app to install. Drivers marked inactive are blocked at sign-in.
